The Company
Healthy and Happy Living Natural Food Store started doing business in May, 2010. Prior to this, locals have known this location to be "Happy Marpole Market", a conventional grocery store owned by H&L Foods Ltd. since 2007. With gained knowledge and experiences over the years, while seeing the demand and growth in the organic foods sector, the owners have decided to make this revolutionary shift from their conventional grocery business to a more natural, more healthy route.
Nevertheless, business aside, what's most important and always our top priority, is the health and well being of our customers. Although people are familiar with the term "natural" and "organic", how many know the true meaning or the definition behind it? How "natural" is natural? How "organic" is organic? The market is filled with numerous misleadingly marked products, creating a deception that the consumer is eating healthy (or "not as unhealthy") products, when in fact they are still ingesting a lot of chemicals that are harmful to their bodies. How many are knowledgeable enough to determine? Or to a more general respect, how many truly know what diet to choose in order to live a healthier life?
Our mission is to bring our customers a healthier and happier living, benefiting them emotionally and physically, guiding them to the right foods to eat.
